The International Inventory of Musical Sources – Répertoire International des Sources Musicales (RISM) – is an international, non-profit organization which aims for comprehensive documentation of extant musical sources worldwide. These primary sources are manuscripts or printed music, writings on music theory, and libretti.

RISM Digital Center / RISM Switzerland
The RISM Digital Center leads the development of a digital infrastructure for the RISM. In this context, its role is to ensure that the RISM project maintains a strategic position within the large international network of digital resources for Research.
The RISM Switzerland records music manuscripts and printed musical sources in Swiss libraries and archives according to international scientific standards. It thus contributes in an essential way to the conservation of cultural assets in music in Switzerland.
