Memoriav Colloquium 2018
Replay: TV and radio documents after broadcasting #CMK2018

Public and private radio and television stations are among the largest producers of audiovisual documents, and more and more people are interested in their long-term preservation and use. How and in what form are these sounds and moving images transmitted to future generations? How are they accessible, how and for what purposes can they be used? How do the current technical, economical and political changes in media production affect these questions? The Memoriav Colloquium 2018 will focus on the archiving, use and dissemination of television and radio archives. Register now!

  • International radio archiving
Three internationally renowned specialists from Sweden, the Netherlands and Belgium as well as the person in charge of archives at Radio Télévision Suisse present the (political, economic) framework conditions, strategies, organisation, institutions and projects for radio archiving in the respective countries. This enables a transnational overview and comparison possibilities as well as an exchange of experiences.
  • Replay-Bazaar
This part of the programme consists of three elements: a „one minute madness“ session at Einstig, the actual „bazaar“ with stand presentations and the conclusion with a „report“. The event provides both a broad and in-depth overview and insight into relevant projects, developments, tools and other experiences in the field of broadcasting archiving. Fresh and very interactive forms were chosen for this part of the programme so that the operators of the bazaar stands and their „customers“ could mix in an interest-driven, informal and fruitful way
